3/14/16, 7:46 pm - No disruptions expected during the 12:05am - 2:00am window on 3/15/16
3/11/16, 6:26 pm - We will be making some changes tonight to our central network equipment this weekend. You can expect a single, less than 5 minute outage some time during the published 12:05 am - 2:00 am window on 3/12 and likely similar brief interruptions during the windows on 13th and 14th.
Engineers will continue to troubleshoot throughout the weekend, but that work will not be disruptive beyond the brief interruptions mentioned above.
March 10, 2016 - March 16, 2016, 12:05 am - 2:00 am each day
March 11: Expect at least two brief interruptions, during the early part of this window
March 12: Expect a single brief interruption, less than 5 minutes, some time during this window

Most university online services, including but not limited to:
Blackboard Learn
VMware Horizon View (VDI)
Oracle E-Business Suite & related apps
PeopleSoft SIS, My OHIO Student Center & related apps
IMPACT
Possibility of one or more interruptions during this time window each day.
Because of the unpredictable nature of this work, we recommend not doing any graded work during these hours.

Vendor engineering staff will be making a number of changes to our network configuration to improve reliability and address problems that caused several recent outages.
