Investigating - OneDrive
Users may experience errors when saving new Office documents larger than 3.5 MB in OneDrive for Business.
Details from Microsoft Support are included below:

*User Impact:* Users may experience errors when saving new Office documents larger than 3.5 MB in OneDrive for Business.

*More info:* This issue is specific to newly created documents being saved for the first time that are greater than 3.5 MB in size. Affected documents may display either of the following errors: "Upload pending: Server unavailable" or "Upload failed: Locked by another user." As a workaround, you can create a blank new document and save it to OneDrive for Business. After the blank document successfully completes an initial save, you can edit and paste in the full content and it will save without further problems. For additional information and workarounds, please check the following link: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Error-Upload-pending-Server-unavailable-or-Upload-failed-Locked-by-another-user-when-saving-files-7fc9ab36-0b96-4c19-b486-b1fe7de91c12

*Current status:* We've identified a code issue in a recent update that is causing this problem, and we're currently working on a fix.

*Scope of impact:* A few customers have reported this issue, and our analysis indicates that a very limited number of customers and users appear to be impacted. This issue impacts Office versions 16.0.7870.2013 or greater.

*Start time:* Thursday, March 2, 2017, at 12:00 AM UTC

*Preliminary root cause:* An update to improve upload efficiency of Office documents exposed a code issue affecting synchronization of newly created files under certain scenarios. The code issue causes a mismatch during the synchronization workflow, resulting in upload errors being generated.
Technicians are investigating the issue.

"Current status: We've identified specific errors when applying the patch to systems that are returning to active service rotation. Monitoring - Microsoft issued a statement that, while this issue appeared to have been resolved late last week, there are reports of a recurrence this morning, though to a lesser degree.

If you find yourself affected by this issue, please know that cloud-based Office 365 applications are still available; it is the "App Launcher" (the 'waffle' or 'grid' in the upper-left corner of Catmail) which is giving limited results for some users.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates parallel to those from Microsoft.
Mar 6, 08:45 EDT
Update - Microsoft has identified a configuration issue that has delayed deployment and has corrected it. Fix is proceeding as expected.
Mar 2, 21:00 EDT
Identified - Catmail email & calendar, and other OWA accessed apps.
Microsoft has acknowledged that users may discover that some of their Office 365 apps are missing from the app launcher in OWA. They traced the problem to a bad certificate on their side and are projecting that the issue will be fixed later today. Original MS bulletin is included below:
*EX94874 - App launcher issue*
*Status:* Service degradation
*Your affected users:* 230,143

*User Impact:* Users may be unable to view some app launcher tiles within Outlook on the web.

*More info:* Affected tiles include SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Office Online. Exchange Online app launcher tiles are not affected by this issue.

*Current status:* We're investigating an issue in which users may be unable to view app launcher tiles within Outlook on the web.

*Scope of impact:* Customer reports indicate that many users will likely experience impact related to this event. Our analysis indicates that any of your users who are attempting to use the app launcher may be impacted.

*Start time:* Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at 8:45 AM UTC

*Next update by:* Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at 6:00 PM UTC

*Current status:* Our investigation determined that a recent certificate update contained a configuration issue which prevented the certificate from being installed on a subset of systems which host Outlook on the web. We're redeploying the certificate update to restore service for affected users. The deployment is expected to take several hours to complete; however, the issue should now be resolved for the majority of affected users.
