Technicians continue to work with the vendor to identify the issue. Users connected to both wireless and wired connections may experience brief interruption, lasting up to 1 minute. Re-connection should be automatic, but a manual re-connection may be necessary. Phone calls in progress may experience a silence during the interruption, but will resume. Most users will not notice the connection issue. If you need any assistance re-connecting or determining impact, please contact the IT Service Desk at 740-593-1222.

Monitoring - My OHIO Success Network
There have been incoming reports that My OHIO Success Network users are experiencing intermittent login issues. We have been working with the vendor (Starfish) support team to find a solution, and this afternoon they made a change in their system which may require users to clear their browser cache and try again. If the problem persists even after users have cleared their browser cache, please contact the servicedesk@ohio.edu to let us know. We will continue to monitor this issue.

Service has been restored. Microsoft provided the following statement on Saturday 9/7:

"Final status: We've confirmed that the deployment has exceeded 95 percent saturation and the vast majority of users will no longer see this issue. We anticipate that the deployment will fully complete over the next few days and any users currently affected by the problem will see mitigated impact by early next week."

Microsoft has identified the issue, and provided the following statement:

"Current status: We've completed our validation of the fix and our testing has confirmed a reduction in errors. We've initiated deployment of the fix throughout the affected environments, which is currently 86 percent complete. We anticipate the deployment process to complete within the next eight hours."
