This outage will provide an opportunity to perform necessary preventative maintenance and tie-in projects taking place at the Old Heating Plant switchgear. These activities reduce the likelihood of an unplanned service interruption and enable FM to more quickly and safely respond in the event of an unplanned outage. The outage has been scheduled during non-business hours to minimize impact to the Ohio University community.
This will impact all buildings on the Athens campus except the following:
• 4 University Terrace
• 31 S. Court Street
• 66 University Terrace
• Bingham House
• Columbus Road Buildings
• Konneker Alumni Center
• Ping Cottage
• The Ridges Buildings
• West State Street Research Park
