Update
Stuck messages continue to be delivered slowly. We now estimate they should all be delivered by the start of the business day tomorrow.

Update - The current estimate for delivering the backlog of stuck Catmail messages is between 8:00pm and 10:00pm tonight. We will continue to monitor delivery and will post updates as we learn more.

Delivering the backlog of stuck Catmail messages is happening more slowly than we thought it would. At this point, we estimate that it will take until approximately 6 pm today to finish delivering all of the stuck messages. We will continue to monitor delivery and will post updates as we learn more.

We estimate all queued emails should be delivered by 9 AM tomorrow (2/1/2017).

Catmail - The 'stuck' external messages are now starting to be delivered, but it will be several hours before all of those messages get processed. New messages sent from non-OHIO addresses continue to flow normally and are NOT delayed. Only messages sent from non-OHIO addresses between 4 pm and 6 pm are delayed.

Update
New emails sent from outside the university now are being delivered normally; however, outside messages sent to ohio.edu addresses between approximately 4 pm and 6 pm are still delayed. We are working on getting those messages 'unstuck' and delivered as soon as possible. We will post an update at https://status.ohio.edu/incidents/xzgj8k5143wn when this is resolved.

We are currently experiencing email delivery issues from messages sent from outside of Ohio University to ohio.edu addresses. We expect this issue to be resolved in the next 15-30 minutes.
Technicians are investigating the issue.
